It was a cold, windy, day for the participants from 15-16 schools in the Ithaca Relays. Representing St. Louis in three relays was our own Dylan. One of the relays in which Dylan competed was the Deitz/Morris 4X4 relayed so named after longtime Ithaca track coaches Bob Morris and Randy Dietz. Our family members know Coach Morris as “Uncle Bob” dad’s lifelong friend. What was especially rewarding was the fact that Dylan took a third place medal in the relay.  My grandson medaling in a relay named after my longtime best friend. That was way too cool. But that wasn’t the only medal Dylan won that day. He and his relay team members won medals in the 4X1 and the $X2 events as well. Job well done Dylan!
