I attended the University of Detroit High School for three years, 1954 – 1957. U of D was an all-boys Jesuit high school on the corner of 7 mile and Cambridge Ave, Detroit, MI 48221. Near the end of my Junior year at U of D I left the school and went to another all-boys boarding school, Assumption College H.S. in Windsor, Ontario. I graduated from Assumption in 1959. This past Wednesday, January 18, 2017 I had lunch with three of my Assumption classmates in Novi. One of my Assumption classmates had also gone to U of D with me. Later that evening I received an email from my classmate, Mark Wise, containing a picture of our class, 1F. There were approximately 200 boys in my freshman class. Our freshmen class was divided into 6 classrooms, called 1A-1F. As mentioned then this picture was taken just outside our 1F classroom in 1954. See if you can find me and find my signature on the page. The article in the picture describing our class was written by the man who gave me the picture, Mark Wise.

I know the picture is hard to see….is it sad that I can’t pick you out? How cool to have this memory! This site is a great place to catch up on missed opportunities with our family. Great idea dad! Love it!
