The first four images in this slideshow are from the girls varsity basketball game played Friday, February 3, 2017 between Ithaca and St. Louis High Schools. Karlee is a starting guard for St. Louis and MacKelle is all but a starting guard for Ithaca – and they were each assigned to guard each other during the contest. Incredible experience watching the two of them play with such intensity and focus. You will notice Karlee has a bandaid over her left eye covering a cut requiring four stitches that Karlee received in the first half from MacKelle’s teammate’s elbow, 6’3 Kayla Belles.
The remaining photos are from the last game of Karlee’s high school basketball career played in her home gym at St. Louis on Monday, February 27, 2017. The Shark girls lost their first district game of the Michigan High School State Girls Basketball Championship tournament.
